Two weeks into a weight loss program, you might actually have gained weight, for example, as I pointed out a few paragraphs ago. 5. Plan to stay motivated:
One of the most common obstacles that knock people off their weight loss program is loss of motivation. The drive and excitement that gets you started is very seldom still around when you lace up your walking shoes for what seems like the millionth time and have only lost two lbs.
Including your reasons for losing weight, the emotional and perhaps physical triggers that got you started in the first place, as part of your written weight loss plan gives you a means of reinvigorating your desire to achieve your goals. We often forget how we felt and what we believed at the start of such a journey, and being able to pull out the paper and review the dreams and expectations can bring us back up to that original level, or at least remind us of what we are enduring this for.

Balanced Weight Loss Diets

Composition of energy value and preparation of food ration is called a diet. A balanced diet is necessary. More fruits and vegetables and a variety of diet should be taken. The best method is to follow a diet plan. Diet plans should be followed strictly for weight loss. Otherwise, health problems like tension, heart attack, cholesterol and diabetes may occur. Diet planning should be followed regularly otherwise it could lead back to obesity. A balanced weight loss diet is one that provides all nutrients necessary for the body. 

While on a weight loss program, soup is a supplement and vegetables can be substituted according to taste. Vegetables like asparagus, peas, corn, turnips, cauliflower etc. can be added but beans should be avoided because they are high in calories.

Food containing low calories and low saturated fats should be taken. This makes the body healthier and wards off diseases. Proteins, carbohydrates and vitamins should be taken in regular quantity. Carbohydrates should be less in quantity. Dairy products rich in fat should be avoided. All these measures help people live longer.

We should take food to gain energy and keep ourselves active. Weight loss diets replace damaged tissues and cells through proteins, vitamins and minerals that we take in. DAY1: Lots of melon is recommended the first day. Probability is that you lose 3lbs.
DAY 2: Stuff yourselves with all vegetables - unlimited amount or type.
DAY3: Mix fruits and vegetables - except bananas and potatoes.
DAY4: Eat as much as eight bananas and three glasses of milk.
DAY5: Eat 10 oz of lean beef and six tomatoes. Increase water intake to clean the body of uric acid.
DAY6: Eat unlimited amount of beef and vegetables.
DAY7: Take brown rice, all vegetables and fruit juice.

High protein and low carbohydrates food should be taken. Dairy products and fat products should be avoided. Cholesterol leads to heart problems and carbohydrates change into fats. Vegetables, chicken, grains, fish and nuts, which are protein rich and low in calcium, can be added to diet plans. Regular exercise and walking is a must. This helps in burning excess fat. A balanced weight loss diet provides the nutrients necessary for your body.

Close attention to quality as well as quantity of food should be made. Some tips are:- Milk can be used in place of cream in coffee and eat vegetable salads and drink fruit flavored water.

That's correct folks.  Your weight is not that important.  Your body fat percentage is.  What is body fat percentage?  This is part of the composition of your body.  Your body is composed of muscle and bones etc which makes up your lean body mass.  Your body then has fat.  The percentage of your total mass which is pure fat is called your body fat percentage. 
Most people when they start a fat burning weight loss regime tend to concentrate on a goal weight.  They focus on getting to this weight and don't realise that body composition is much more important. 
Your body fat percentage is a much better indicator of your health.  There are different recommendations for body fat percentage levels, but the following come from the American Council on Exercise.
An example of how body fat percentage is a much better indicator of health rather than something like BMI would be "fat skinny" people.
Say I am a woman who weighs 70kg and I am 168cm tall.  My BMI of 24.4 tells me that I am in a normal weight range.  I then go and measure my body fat percentage and the percentage of my body which is pure fat is 33%.  This shows I am actually at risk.  I have too much fat compared with lean mass on my body and so I am actually at risk even though BMI tells me I am normal weight range.
Focusing on body fat percentage rather than total mass is a much better option when setting goals.  It is a much better indication on where you are health wise.  The other reason is that muscle weighs more than fat and so sometimes when you build more lean mass you will see a gain on the scales which is actually good because it means your body fat percentage has dropped and you are healthier and leaner.  Your muscles just weigh more! The same can go the other way say I am a male body builder who is 193cm tall and weighs 115kg.  Of course this weight is muscle!  My BMI would tell me that I am obese and yet when I do my body fat percentage testing I have a percentage of 8%.  This actually means I am in the athlete class and not at all obese.
